school psychologist, eds, ncsp

doctoral student at boston university

I'm a teacher turned school psychologist and researcher. I care broadly about the implementation of evidence-based mental health and instructional practices in schools, the dismantling of harmful practices and processes in education, and the creation of preventative, supportive, and inclusive education systems.

Teacher

I'm a trained special and elementary educator and specialized in teaching students across disability categories (cross-categorical). I have an awareness of (and commitment to) school-based work. I teach education, educational psychology, and special education courses at Boston University.

School Psychologist

I received my training as a School Psychologist from the University of Washington in Seattle. I currently practice in MA. I have experience working with children and adolescents from birth through high school, as well experience with district-level consultation, program evaluation, and systems implementation and improvement.

Researcher

My research is conducted within the Wheelock Institute for the Science of Education (WISE), the National Center on Improving Literacy (improvingliteracy.org), and Wheelock Educational Policy Center (WEPC).
